The entire Bible as open-world games

Dead Sea Origins

“Come, see the place where He lay.”

Matthew 28:6

Game One: Eyewitness · Chapter One free at Christmas 2027

The Linchpin

If He rose, He is worthy of trust.

Believing says it’s true. Trusting stakes your life on it.

“You believe that God is one. Good for you! Even the demons believe that—and shudder.”James 2:19

Agreeing isn’t the same as trusting.

“The work of God is this: to believe in the One He has sent.”John 6:29

Everything in this series hangs on one morning outside Jerusalem.

Before the cross

Jesus told Peter, “before the rooster crows, you will deny Me three times.” (Matthew 26:34) Peter replied, “Even if I have to die with You, I will never deny You.” “And all the other disciples said the same thing.” (Matthew 26:35)

Hours later, “everyone deserted Him and fled.” (Mark 14:50)

After the third day

Weeks later, in the same city, the same men stood before the council that had condemned Jesus and said: “For we cannot stop speaking about what we have seen and heard.” (Acts 4:20)

What changed them? They said they had seen Him alive.

“And if Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile; you are still in your sins.”

1 Corinthians 15:17

That’s why Eyewitness builds toward Easter 2033, 2,000 years after the empty tomb. Come and weigh the evidence with us.

Watch a Gospel Point

Game One

Eyewitness

The four Gospels, merged into one open world in Unreal Engine 5. Four accounts of the same events, read side by side the way a historian would read them. Walk the roads of Galilee and the streets of Jerusalem beside the people who were there, and hear every word exactly as scripture records it.

Every road in Eyewitness leads to one morning outside Jerusalem.

  • Four Gospels, one open world

Matthew, Mark, Luke and John woven into one continuous story, so you can see what each witness saw.

  • Scripture, word for word

Every named character speaks only scripture, word for word, from the Berean Standard Bible. Nothing added to their lips.

  • Through the eyes of those who were there

Not a retelling from a distance. You live the Gospels through the eyes of the people who saw them happen.

  • First-century Judea and Galilee

The land of the Gospels rebuilt in Unreal Engine 5: its towns, its roads, its sea and its hills.

  • Built in public, live

Every build happens on stream. Watch the game take shape from the first block-out to the final chapter.

  • AI in the open

We use AI tools and we say so. Concept art is labeled, and the process is shown live, never hidden.

The Series

The whole Bible. Starting with Christ.

Dead Sea Origins is the entire Bible as a series of open-world games, lived through the eyes of the people who were there. We start with the Gospels because the rest of the story stands or falls on what happened at the tomb. Then the rest of the New Testament, as the witnesses carry it outward. Then the Old Testament, from the beginning, read in the light of that morning.

About the series

Dead Sea Origins is the entire Bible as a series of open-world games, lived through the eyes of the people who were there. Developed by Qumran Studios, the series is built around the Resurrection, the claim the whole story stands or falls on, and it starts with Christ: Game One, Eyewitness, merges the four Gospels into a single open world built in Unreal Engine 5, where every named character speaks only scripture, word for word, from the Berean Standard Bible. Chapter One, The Word Became Flesh, is free at Christmas 2027, with a worldwide premiere in early 2028 and the complete game at Easter 2033, 2,000 years after the Resurrection. Game Two, Ends of the Earth, based on Acts, begins in 2034. The series is built in public, live on stream, with its use of AI shown in the open.

The Studio

Qumran Studios

Qumran Studios is named for the caves above the Dead Sea where some of the oldest known copies of scripture lay hidden for two thousand years. We make the Bible into worlds you can walk through, with every word kept exactly as it was written, and we build them in the open, live, for anyone to watch.

Our mission: stand people at the empty tomb, among the people who were there, and let them weigh the evidence for themselves.
